Super Versus Battle is GO!

During this month's European tour, I'll be making a stop in London to check out the upcoming Super Versus Battle.

"What's Super Versus Battle?" you ask?  Only Europe's largest fighting event!  Neo Empire's competition will feature fighting games including Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, and of course Super Street Fighter IV.

World Champion Daigo Umehara will be on hand to administer beatings, and Marvel Vs Capcom 3 will also be making a playable cameo, courtesy of Capcom Europe!  Even if you don't think you're the best of the best, stop by and check it out.

The event runs from Friday, August 20th, to Sunday, August 22nd, at Byron Hall (part of Harrow Leisure Centre) in Harrow & Wealdstone, London.

Monster Hunter Tri on it's Way to the Top of Most Played Wii Games

Monster Hunter Tri is rapidly rising as one of the most played Wii games. Average hours played per user is nearing 70 hours. It's not hard to see why it's rising so quickly to the top spot... There's a lot to do in Monster Hunter. It's easy to hop in and start playing, especially if you go online and find some friends to go hunting with. Not long after, you realize it's 4am, you haven't eaten, and you're still not ready to turn it off. It's more than a fun and addicting game, it's rewarding and satisfying throughout your time in the game. There will always be something new to learn, some new challenge that presents itself, a bigger monster to hunt. Aside from that, we constantly update the online portion of the game with new quests.

Honestly, if you haven't picked up Tri yet, you're missing out.

Amazing Marvel vs Capcom Fan Art

We've been showing more and more of Marvel vs Capcom 3 lately. With all the news has come a lot of new fan art. Here's a couple of awesome pieces we stumbled upon that were just too good not to show you.

The one on the left is probably the best poster we've ever seen. Dr. Doom, Dead Pool, and Chun-li in the poster style of "A New Hope" is an instant win in my book.

And on the right below is a piece of Dhalsim art, reskinned to look like spidey. Surprisingly it doesn't seem that out of place to me...
