With Microsoft's conference over, we reflect back on what Microsoft didn't announce or just didn't deliver.

  1. No Xbox 720:
With Halo 4 announced for Holiday 2012 for 360 does this confirm that Microsoft's next console won't be out till 2013 at the earliest?
  2. Too much focus on Kinect:
Xbox 360 has been the gamer's system. Where were the new IP's for the core gamer? It's good to see some Kinnect support with a surprising amount of large franchises being built for it, but it's still catering to a very select demographic.
  3. Killer Instict 360:
It's time Rare made a gamer's game again. While Kinect Sports was one of the Kinect's highlights last year, when is Rare going to bring itself back to the top? They have so many franchises that could work as next-gen experiences, but we've only had a taste of them.
  4. Shameless tie-ins:
Bing, UFC, Xbox TV: While Xbox TV didn't offer enough details, UFC and Bing just seemed like tacked on services. Does anyone really use the ESPN connectivity from last year? What about Skype? And having to say "Xbox Bing Lego" or some other game title sounds a little silly.
  5. Fable FPS:
While Fable 3 underwhelmed many, Fable Journey looks more the an XBLA title. Will Peter Molyneux ever deliver on a promise? What happened to Milo? It's weird to see such a Fabled franchise devole into such a simplistic experience...though we supposed Zelda: Crossbow Training did it first.
