At the Sony E3 briefing today, Sony announced the God of War Origins Collection with both PSP God of Wars being remade for the PS3 in 3D. Sony also confirmed the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection remastered in HD and 3D as well. Both will come out in September.

Now how can you actually play these games due to how expensive viewing 3D is at home? Sony will be offering an affordable 24” Playstation branded TV. Two people can see two different images ON THE FULL SCREEN at the same time. Your glasses will only pick up two of the layers on the TV while your friend picks up another two layers with what he should be seeing and makes split-screen obsolete. The full 3D monitor bundle with the TV, glasses, Resistance 3 will be $499 in the fall. Another pair of glasses will be available for $69.99.

Update: Wes got to see the PlayStation 3DTV live after the briefing and confirmed that the images are in 2D when two people are using it as separate screens.
