E3 2011: ModNation Racers for PS Vita Shown Off

ModNation Racers for PSVita shown, or more specifically, it’s racetrack editor mode. They live demo’d how to make a complete looking track in less than three minutes thanks to a touch screen interface.

To start off, a spline for the racetrack was created by dragging his finger in a figure eight. From there, he could zoom in and brush up track details. Terrain around the track including rocky cliffs were feathered in with brushes by his finger. Then a cityscape brush was selected and painted buildings in various spots in the track.

When he finally went to race, it looked great but there was only one car on the track.  Stay tuned for more ModNation Racers on Vita from GameXplain during E3.
