Nintendo and Ubisoft had an open Q&A session after announcing their partnership and the new Ubisoft games on the way for the Wii U this Wednesday evening. Here's a recap of the important questions, extremly paraphrased.

Q: Is Assassin’s Creed a port?
A: Ubisoft is not announcing which title, but it will be the best Assassin’s Creed they can bring to the console.

Q: Did working on DS touchscreen help?
A: Yes they are similar.

Q: Can 2 controllers be used?
A: Can’t share that information.

Q: The Freaks look like the rabbids. Are they born from the want for the rabbids to kill someone?
A: Lots of the same team members are working on Killer Freaks--they want to blow away the rabbids after working with them so long.

Q: Is the crossplatform multilateral?
A: He doesn't say but hints its only for Wii U. Persistance online oknly for this game and not all united games

Q: How to strafe in Killer Freaks?
A: Use one stick, other stick zooms.

Q: Are tthese the only three games you're announcing for Wii U?
A: We are only announcing these three.

Q: How is the system's power?
A: It's too early to male comparisons. The hardware is evolving and not final. Ubisoft still learning more about it every day
[They're being really defensive on this subject, which is a bit concerning]

Q: What does making Wii I games mean for production costs?
A: It doesn't change anything much. The core teams still the same.

Q: How do you get consumers and other companies excited for the Wii U?
A: Very few companies knew about it but I think companies and gamers out there are getting excited.
Hopefully this roundtable will convince other developers.

Q: Killer Freaks looks immersive but is it tiring to move around?
A: You don't have to use gyro; you can use small movements.

Q: If Ghost Recon is always online, can it alert people people via controller?
A: Good idea. Were taking notes on that.

Q: For the Killer Freaks team--in the age of online, does local multiplayer still have its place?
A: Yes, local multiplayer has had a huge place for gamers.

Q: Can you play only the controller and not on a TV?
A Maybe... [but hints at the possibility. Won't discuss the range of the Wii U controller].

And that's it for the Q&A! The benefits from an exciting partnership from Nintendo and Ubisoft is on its way.
